When people lose important documents...

...it pisses me off!

I am trying to get licensed to provide family day care in my own home. I'm almost there, but they need me to be CPR and First Aid certified. No problem, except that I ALREADY AM! I should be current until this upcoming September.

I took the class in their building and it was taught by one of their people, yet they don't seem to have any record of it. They never sent either Excel or I our cards stating we are certified, and apparently they lost the sign in sheet where we signed in when we took the class. That and they lost the test we had to take to pass the class.

GRRR! How could they screw up so much?! And in the military, too! It's very important to not loose documents in the military. It's, shall we say, considered very bad.

Not to mention that if we have no record of being certified, the youth center should not have let us coach youth volleyball. The whole reason we got certified was because we wanted to coach, and we had to be certified for that. We coached the entire season. Excel was head coach and I was an assistant coach. Yet the records of us being certified seem to have disappeared from the youth center, too...or the youth center was VERY bad and never got it yet still let us coach.

I hate incompetant people. And what is to say that even if I get RE-certified, they won't just loose it again?

Wow..That's pretty sucky right there. I figure if you can raise bunnies you can watch children. How that logic works I'll never know but it's sound all the same.

My only problem with what you said is the word "Loose" remember, you don't "loose" papers you "lose" them...hehehe

I can definitely see how you'd be upset... That doesn’t make any sense. . How can the CPR place... And the Youth Center both just lose them...

Have they checked their computers for back up files? There should be some record of you being their somewhere...or did they get your certification mixed up with someone else?

What about other people, students or teachers in the class? …. Could you maybe contact them to verify to whom ever needs to know that you were there and did take and pass the class?

If all else fails... what about just retaking the main test that you needed to pass the class?

The point is those documents shouldn’t have been lost ... and you should have gotten your cards certifying you... that was just careless on their part. And I can see how your upset I wouldn’t be a happy camper ether ^^ but don’t let it get to you ^^ I'm sure everything will work out.

Well, they FINALLY found my CPR card, so that is taken care of at least. Now the problem is that the class tonight may or may not be cancelled due to weather.

eh, it happens Kiyomi. Just take the class over, if need be. If anything, bug em till your blue in the face, this way they possibly give you a free class. That, and find the instructor that taught you the course. He can vouch for you about the incident.
