I figured we could use something to liven this forum up a bit. This isn't a contest because I can't aford one.  Instead it's a challenge just for fun. If people like it then I might do one every so often.
Callenge #1: DC Mangaverse!
I was one of the few that really liked the Marvel Mangaverse. I wondered what kinda stuff would come out of DC.
What I want is for you to envision what DC characters would be like if they were created in Japan. Try not to make it the same character, just with a new costume. I want you guys to use your imaginations. Now get drawing! ^_^ |

Wow- you suggested this here, and I suggested it at the Allspark draw-off >D hahaha! DC Mangaverse MUST happen.
I remember all the ones I was tryin to do when Marvel pushed out there Mangaverse..."Superman"(which was just Ultraman with a more appropriate suit), Bat Detective(just Batman in a more cyber-ish suit; though there was also Bat-O...), the Green Lantern that was guyver-ish, Flash the Stampede, etc. etc. etc.
I might resurrect a few and work on them if I get the chance. |

Once again our brainwaves cross paths.
I even had that exact same idea for GL.
I got 4 different ideas. Not sure which I'll actually finish.
Batman: Ninja of the Bat.
Bio Armor Green Lantern.
Hyper Speed Robot The Flash.
Metahuman Task Force Superman <-- I really like this one. 
I'm gonna do at least one more of these art challenges even if this one doesn't do so well. The next one's gonna be really fun. |
