This here thread is for the special people like me who can't seem to hear when people say stuff....if you've ever misheard a line from a friend...put it here with what they actually said and what you thought they said...
This outta get amusing after a while
Two nights ago at a Denny's, Kiyomi and I were discussing how cool it is that her B-Day falls on the longest day of the year. She remarked the following
"I can stay out all day and night"
But this is what I heard
"I can stay out with a can of Sprite"

I so am here now, I do it at work all the time. Someone goes on and on, but in the end it all seems like a jumble to me and my supervisor gets pissed about it hehe. |

This has happend to me a few times at work recently, but I'm the one who was misunderstood.
I said "Cool, there's a dead Bloom over there!" (referring to what we call a Bloomin' Onion at Outback when it's messed up and can't go out to the customer)
What was heard was "Cool, there's a a dead woman over there!" |

I have no idea how they got that out of what I said...but everyone thought that was what I said....*snicker*
