Im in teh market for a PCI video card, very soon. Anyone have any suggestions. My research turns up the ATI Radeon 7500 PCI, an ATI 9200 or one of these but Im game to suggestions. I really dunno much about these sorts of things, so if anyone can just suggest whihc one is better Ill take your word for it. |

I like the Geforce series to be honest but im not an expert on video cards or anything. I know there were some benchmark tests on some website I think IGN did a comparison on some recent video cards. I think the radeons were slightly ahead but the geforces are cheaper in price or something. |

ATIs are the favored cards at current I believe. I was running off a PCI Geforce 64mb pretty decently though. If you're upgrading for gaming, I'd go ahead and shell out for the 9200. I didn't have trouble running games like Half-Life 2 and FF11 with the 64mb Geforce (Well, not much anyway). But 64mb won't cut it much longer though. |

Heh.... He ended up with the Geforce 5500. It was the best that we could find and it ended up working better than we imagined.... for a PCI card. I had some complications with the drivers on the initial set up, but I stuck with it and got it all figured out.... Now Dai is playin a WoW that is much easier on the eyes. Hell its even running better on his computer than it is on mine..... which is kinda disappointing. Anyways, just wanted to let yall know we got everything figured out.
