He left work happily, everyone wishing him a Merry Christmas as he walked to his car. Starting the old thing, he got in, the Christmas-oriented fuzzy dice hanging on his rearview mirror dangling as he sat down in the car and started the car.

The interstate was quiet for once. He sped by slowly, as Christmas music played in the background. Peering down the road, he caught glimpse of his exit, and proceeded off.

He pulled by the park. It wasn't far away from his home. He got out of the car, his feet crunching underneath his weight on the white blanket that had been casted down. He could see his breath in the faint light, provided by the street lamp, and felt the cold whisk by his nose like a faint cat's whisker brushing past. He walked slowly, feeling his traction failing under the poor grip of his shoes. He went down the small hill, and stood in the middle of the small field surrounded by the pine trees.

He looked up into the sky. He couldn't see the stars tonight, but he liked to imagine he could. He liked to imagine the milkyway painting a canvas of darkness, and the glitter of stars to surround it, and litter the sky with life. He peered up at the only light in the sky: The lunar force that blazed almost twice as hard as usual. As he watched, he saw something familiar in the heavens: A small outline of a sleigh...and eight small reindeer pulling it across the sky with the littlest of ease.

Everything went quiet in his ears, as he listened to one voice, which echoed through every tree, every blade of grass, every bit of snow, and every bit of his soul, which with its jolly warmth traveled as if unhindered by the distance. And the man smiled, at the Ho Ho's and the laughter that continued. He closed his eyes, thinking that it was just his mind starting to relax...but as he opened his eyes, he saw something trailing behind the small outline he thought to be apparition: A trail of lights, like Christmas ornaments being hung on the boughs of the great trees in the sky. The stars shown through the lights on the world, and the man could only shed tears as he heard that voice, once more, echoing throughout everything

"Merry Christmas to all...and to all...a good night."

Just thought I should post some holiday cheer in some words. Have a great season my friends, and may everyone's Christmas be filled with Love and happiness, like mine will be.
