I just got the demo for this game yesterday. In my personal opinion...this could be the best PS2 game I played since Devil May Cry...even has potential to beat out Ninja Gaiden! Really! Go to a video game store and see if you can get a demo. You will be very much impressed.
I just wish this game didn't come out the same week as PSP. God...I am going to be so broke that week. |

It looks quite interesting though, with lots of fun-ness involoved as well
as far as being better than ninja Gaiden...i can see that, what with teh friggen game being THE HARDEST GAME EVAR! *explodes* |

Yea I almost made a topic myself, It's really fun. I love how when you kill a boss it isn't really "dead" you have to Finish it off somehow. Very cool  |

Rune I so know how you feel. B/c Lord knows I'm getting a PSP
As far as this game goes.
It's been a long time since I had that much fun kicking the crap out of people.
You get these two sword-like weapons that are more like the sword-whip that chick from Soul Caliber uses. The also glow with a red flame like glow... right up my alley right?
There are some incredible combos, including some that make the game move to slow motion to make it more dramatic. You can also grab guys and beat the hell out of them. It's great. There's actually a way to shoot them up in the air, then you can jump up after them and do an air combo... or grab them in the air and beat them on the way down!
The boss fight in the Demo is amazing. The visuals are better than any other game of it's type that I have seen. When you get to that Hydra on the demo... There's 3 heads... 2 small 1 big. And when you get one of the small ones down to 0HP, the big one will heal it unless the small one is "finished off" like Ultrawolf said.
The demo ends when you get to the top of a ship mast to fight the large Hydra head... figures right.
OH OH... and one of the parts that I found the most fun... when you are climbing ... like on a net or something where you can actually move in all directions while climbing. You get attacked. You can grab the guys that are attacking you and slam their heads into the wall a few times, then throw them. If you don't kill them, they climb back up. Well you can grab other guys and throw them at the guys climbing below you. That was fun.

Pffft, I only started the other topic because I don't pay attention to Rune... At all...Ever...And his only had 3 posts after it..Katamari had like 3 pages.

Very Fun game. I was looking under the movelist and there seems to be a lot of fighting styles you can learn. Maybe there's other styles with different weapons. I like the counter system in the game do, it slows down when you've blocked a move so you can perform a counter combo. |

Actually it had a page and a half, and hadn't been posted in in over a month and a half.
Yes this only had 3 posts... but the last one was ... 4 days ago.

I really liek the special move you get that shoots out all the lightning. Nice! |

Devil May Cry is totally overrated = X, i really didn't enjoy it at all
