Capture teh Drow?

Well...here goes. Let me know if you guys think this isn't a good idea, but 'sashi and I were bored one day and thought of this.

..Capture the Drow was an entirely popular game at AWA. It involved mostly grabbing this little Drow, and picking her up/tossing her over the shoulder, etc.

So we thought it might be fun to have an actual Capture the Drow game for POs to play if they so wished.

I made this sprite-- (Don't worry, I know it's a rather poor creation. I'll probably work on it some more at some point, but for now it's good enough.)

If you find her, you can put this:




In your sig. She'll then be moved to a new location, and you have the opportunity to find her again. If you do, then you get a find added to your tally, but she stays where she is until someone else finds her, and then that person also gets a badge, and she gets moved.

Don't worry, as far as the threads go. I won't bury her -too- deeply that it's impossible to find her. But I will post here whenever she's caught and is moved, etc.


The Drow here, and in my "mmm...well, here goes" thread do -not- count. That one was merely posted to show off my photoshopping skillz, and this one to show you what to look for.

It would be a lot easier if we had the "find all posts by user" button ^^ guess I'll have to do it the old fashioned way.

Righto. She's been placed...and the images here and in my Pocket Showcase thread don't count.

If you find her, PM me her location, or post it here. The first one to do either of the above wins the first round. I'll be putting the scoresheet on the first post of this thread.

Question, though: Should -everyone- who finds her get the Captured the Drow badge, or should it be a bit of a competition? First to get to five, or something like that, and then next to get to five, etc etc

I say first one who finds it gets a badge, then replace my minisis (as if you could get much shorter than me). After that, if they find it again, you just add one to their tally and you wait til someone who's yet to find her...finds her. Ya' know?

i.e.

Azzy is the first to find minisis. Azzy gets a badge. Shan replaces minisis. Azzy is the first to find minisis again. Shan adds one to Azzy's tally but does not give Azzy a badge or replace minisis. Rev finds minisis. Rev gets a badge. Shan replaces minisis.

That makes sense. ^_^ That way you can't find her more than twice in a row, I guess.
