A very special day

First off today is the birthday of my little brother who has been my closest friend for many years. We've been at each other's throats, seen each other at out worst, but no matter what he has always been there for me when I have felt sad. Siblings are wonderful especially one that you are so close to. Its awesome that we can have so much fun together because our interests are so similar, and I'm not considered an embarrassment. I have a brother who will dress up for the opening night of Star Wars Episode 3 with me....what more could I ask for.

Also I think it important to note the following coincidences because they are just creepy. Today is his seventeenth birthday, making it his golden birthday which happens to fall on a friday the day which was the day he was born. And the final coincidence is that when he was born my dad took me out to see the first Batman movie in theaters cause I would have been bored at the hospital all day. So in celebration we are going to see Batman Beginnings today as a family. Yay!

Additionally I want to wish happy birthday to my younger cousin today which is a tremendously happy occasion. We honestly didn't know last year if he would still be with us. As most of my friends know Austin has been fighting a battle for the last 2 years after being diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia, celebrating both birthdays and Christmas in the hospital. At the age of eleven he had to go through a bone marrow transplant and countless experimental treatments. The transplant had been his last hope and for 8 months his family waited to see if his blood count would begin to rise. This past Christmas we got a wonderful present. Austin has been doing great, and looking healthy once again in time to have a lot of fun this birthday at home among his family. He's definitely one of my heroes for being so strong through all of this.

I want to give thanks to his wonderful doctors who worked so hard, and to his donor that gave him new life. Thank you to all of my friends who have known about this. Your prayers and wishes have meant a lot to our family. I also want to give my thanks for the Make A Wish foundation for giving him a goal to keep fighting for so that we could all celebrate this day together.

This kid is great here were his 3 wishes and they'll pick one.
A. wants to go to Australia, meet Steve Irwin and help him catch a crocodile
B. wants to go to Europe and tour various castles
C. wants to be knighted

So Happy Birthday to two very important people to me! And thank you angels above, amen.

and may i also add, when the make a wish foundation organise his little trip for him (ifhe comes to europe and tours various castles) that he may like to go to Nottingham castle and also to go to The Tales Of Robin Hood, which is just down the road and rounda corner from the castle (plus youcan see the whole city from the castles grounds, its a really fantastic view that me and chixie gotoenjooy whenever we visit my family)

Ahh, that's wonderful ^^ I love what the Make a Wish foundation does...Just makes me very happy when I hear the stories that come from it...
