Fashion Line

Well...here's the results of my hard work in the fashion class this year. My senior line in the school fashion show was based around corsets and the name of it was "Bound". There was a lot of heavy influence from anime, as well as some other random places. I really enjoyed making all the outfits and it was a lot of work so here goes with all the pictures and things:

(By the way, all of these outfits were made completely from scratch)

This is the first outfit I designed and created. It was also my favorite...My sister modeled it and she looked absolutly great in it. In any case, there are these tails on the skirt which are super cute and then the whole plaid thing works the cuteness factor as well. The shirt is very pirate like and I loved that aspect as well.

This plaid corset is the first corset I ever made. I really like the ruffles on the top of the corset. Lets see, I didn't make the skirt until the night before the fashion show because I didn't think I would put this corset in the show. I didn't have enough fabric to have ruffles the full way around so I just put them in the back and that turned out to be really cute. This model is super gorgeous, she's a sophmore at my school....she's perfect for modeling except she lacks a lot of energy.

Erm...this outfit is probably my worst. I really liked the design I drew but it was terribly difficult to execute the hearts properly. It was also to big for the model so I had to pin her into it.

This pin striped outfit turned out much simpler than the design...I simply ran out of time but it's actually one of my best corsets. I wore it to the movies and it was really cute...the only thing is I really have to add the piece that goes around the neck to help hold it up...

This outfit is also one of my favorites. I think it looks like a flight attendant outfit for some super hip airline...in any case it looked really good on the model who is a friend of mine...she's a little shy so it brought out her sexier side as well. Making the skirt was interesting because at first it was too small so I had to add the purple panel but that turned out really well. The skirt is also longer but I pinned it up..thought it looked better that way.

This dress turned out somewhat better than I expected....I used the really nice ribbon for the details and the back looked expecially pretty...the model was not very good unfortunatly but alas...

Another favorite. The desing called for bl;ue fabric but I didn't have any so I used red. What is especially nice is that the corset and cute are lined with this very pretty red asain fabric...the details are especially good looking here and the model was wonderful in it. I really like the coat...dont know why though.

Erm...the sheer outfits were the hardest to creat and they turned out..well not great. I only have pictures of one of them but well...

Last but definatly not least..this is my second favorite after the pink plaid outfit. MY sister is modeling but during the show someone else wore it...there is major inspiration from chobits as well as a little victorian era(the bustle) and basically this is the most detailed outfit I made. It looked great on stage and it was the last outfit in my line. It zips up both sides and the blue straps clip onto the triangles, like on overalls.

Here are designs for outfits I never made...but really wanted to.

some really cool stuff there zinka, the one that was b;lue in the design but red in the actual finished product wouldnt look out of place in a final fantasy game Smile

my sister did textiles and had to design an outfit when she was 15, nothing to the standard u have dnoe tho, and she didnt draw hers, i did, she told me what she wnted, she modelled her own coz that was part of the project but she refused to have pics taken and never kept the project, its still at her old school

she was only doing it coz there wasnt another subject she wanted to do, sadly, plus my step sister wasnt taking it, meaning if she was good at it, she'd be accepted by my step mum coz thats how my step family are >_>

Wow, thems be nice Zinka...If you want to speak with other fashiony PO's Sakura is trying to get into clothing designery I think.

I'd drop her an E-mail and you guys can swap battle scars.

The one I wanted to see completed was that white long one that in the drawing shows you can bundle it up or what-have-you that would be totally sweetastic.

wow, those look very top-o-da-line! I especially thought your "Chobits" inspired one was very nicely done. It certainly got me thinking about what some of my friends would look like in them. But all in all, they are all gorgeous. I just wish that some of your models looked a bit more enthusiastic, since they were wearing awesome stuff...and they should be enthusiastic just from that fact! *explodes*
