Not sure if this is in the right place, but I wanted to share this with you all.
Viper told me they had giant catfish the size of grizzley bears in the Mekong Delta, so I told my dad. And he just sent me this photo of one. Hold onto you're socks people.

In this day and age I do not trust pictures like that right of the bat lol, things can be photoshoped to make them look real too easily. I am ganna have to look into this befor I beleive there are catfish that damn big lol.

The sad thing is( if i've heard correctly ) this poor catfish (species of catfish) is an Endangered species. |

Yeah its endangered all right,
I learned though that that pic is actually of the largest Mekong Catfish ever caught, most are about the size of a average man. . .which is still one hell of a catfish lol |

Wow. I just read a couple of articles on noodling...those who partake in that activity are certainly braver than I. I would never stick my hand in a hole anywhere, especially if I knew that something was going to bite it. It is, however, intriguing, and I have to try to see if I can get that documentary about it.
Still...that catfish is HUGE. And I suspect that it could clear bite you arm off if you dared to stick it in it's hole. |
