Moving Day Jitters

Light I'm about to break. There is just so much to do, so much to pack, and no where to put it in the van.

I'm moving into my first apartment and its turning into a real headache. Worst is my mom. I love her dearly but I want to be by myself a little bit when I'm doing this. I can't think straight with all these questions fired at me. "You taking this, you taking that?" I don't know! I'll get to that corner in a bit, I'm still on this ths. One thing at a time I beg of you!

Argh, it isn't like I'm even going very far. Its 5 minutes from the dormitories and I'll still be home everyweekend due to an immense hatred of cooking. This is the same thing we went through when I moved into the dorms the first time. I wish she would realize that its not going to be that bad. I know its the obligatory mom reaction that out of love and sympathy I have to kindly take, but I'm feeling a migraine coming on.

Additionally I have too much stuff.

2 more days! Sweet blessed advil see me through this. T_T

Don't worry K-chan, you'll be fine.

Moving out is tough sometimes. But since you already lived in the dorms last year, it will be easier this year.

And the independence of having your own place that's not a dorm, will be worth it.

I'll admit I'm not yet at the point where I want to move out (if I lived on my own rent would be KILLING me...), but I can see where you're coming from.

Are you, by any chance, living by yourself, or are you gonna have roomies? I ask because the most rewarding year I had while living at school was when I was living by myself. Then I had to go get 2 roommate the next year and be miserable...

Personally I like having roomates. They are handy when moving furnature and mowing the lawn. Well, at least after Blackmage learns how to mow.

But like everything there are ups and downs.

Moved, and unpacked! Yippee! Now the next struggle, cooking for myself >.<.

I do have one roomate who was one of my suitemates in the dorms. We get along well personality wise. I'm just going to have to learn to be a little neater but that will be a good thing for me. ^_^

You'll like it trust me, and cooking will come in time. Plus as Andy said its always nice to split up chores around the house...
