That's sooo not like I expected it to be hehehe. I can't beleive the amount of explosions, death robot crocodiles, and sword swinging there was in the last 10 minutes of the episode I saw 2 days ago  Makes me wanna see more! |

D00D, Samurai Jack is the best action cartoon there is. The animation style is really cool and the fighting is just incredible. You should try to get your hands on the feature length episode that started it all. That is something else. |

Samurai Jack rocks! I just recently got Cartoon Network, so I missed a lot...
But I am glad that I decided to watch this show...really nice animation is used in it, and the character designs are really interesting. One of the best animated shows I seen in a while. |

Errr, don't hurt me too much when I say I don't like Samurai Jack very much at all. 
I just don't think it's that appealing, the stories just don't do anything for me, I often feel the violence is too gratuitous, like it's only violent because it can be, not because it adds anything to the story. I just can't take any of it serious, it just feels so brainless to me. All the characters are just so 2D (in development, nothing against 2D animation) and Aku is just so visually boreing, his heads ok, but a black body? Yawn.
Yeah, I know, not the popular oppinion, and i will admit it's original, you really can't compare it to other samurai toons, it just doesn't do anything for me.

Yeah, for some episodes I'd have to agree, it really does seem to be just violent to be violent and all that jazz. But then I look at Dexter's Lab and all the spoofs that Gendy Tarakofsky has created in all his other shows and then I can look at it again and say: Dude, he making a spoof of his own show's genre.
Then, after all that reflective contemplation I pass out from brain overload.

I am gonna have to agree with Emerje on this one, I just don't like the show. I have seen a few episodes, as well as the feature length first episode, but it is all so boring to me. The only story I have noticed, is: Jack is trying to get back to his time, Jack is atacked by monsters/robots, Jack rips shirt off, Jack cuts up monsters/robots, Jack keeps trying to find a way back.
The last couple times I tried to watch it, I fell asleep. :asleep:
Sorry, but the show does nothing for me. Please don't :bash: or  it's only my opinion... heh heh heh  |

i watch samurai jack alot...my fav. episode was the one where he blindfolded himself and killed those mice with the bows and arrows.  |
