The EA/NFL deal will have repercussions felt far and wide for a long time to come. Possibly the entire 5 year period it's in effect.

Actually, XSN pretty much flopped for MS compared to what ESPN games had on XBox and what PS2 had with their games. When they cancelled XSN, I pretty much figured these games were going to disappear. Nice to hear that Top Spin will still be made. That was a pretty damn good game.

Back to the topic at hand, I am not much of a sports game player to begin with. However, having watched Excel and others play them, I agree that the ESPN games kind of had it wrapped up as far as sports games go with Xbox. I don't like sports games, and they were at least interesting for me to watch (which says a lot coming from me...I don't watch most sports video games).
