I thought long and hard about this, but I decided (sp?) that it wouldn't hurt to at least post one of my poems...so hear goes.

Footprints in the Snow

Footprints in the snow
I follow them
Where do they go

I follow them into the woods
Through bushes around trees
While I walk I ask myself
Who's footprints are these?

They lead me to a cave
I peer inside
And to my surprise
A mother wolf and her cubs are in there to hide

I step away slowly
Not wanting the mother to atttack
I turn around
I see the rest of the pack

I begin to get nervous
The wolves sense it
Then out of nowhere I hear a gowl
I look around; it's my dog, Kit

They attack!
I fight off the wolves along with my dog
I can't believe this is happening
All I can see is a wolf fog

All of a sudden
A loud BANG expladed in my ear
All the wolves scattered
Now I know there is nothing to fear

I look up and there is my father
And I am safe.
