Code Atom's on the EMERGENZA FESTIVAL Lineup...

That's right! Apparently Code Atom has caused enough of a stir that we got contacted by the officials of the Emergenza Festival and we're ASKED to participate!

So.... February 20th at 10pm Code Atom will be throwing down at the Vinyl in Atlanta (1374 West Peachtree St, 30309) to get a shot to perform in Germany and possibly score a slot in the coming year's Vans Warped Tour!!!!!

Here's how it works: The shows are set up all over town (mostly at the Vinyl and the Hard Rock Cafe) with 8 bands playing each night. In the first round, 4 bands get to move on. At the second show only 2 will move on. The voting is done by a show of hands after the band's performance. Kind of like a Battle Of The Bands... If we make it the third round we will be going up against the cream of the crop of Atlanta local music. If...if...we win the 3rd round we go to compete in an international festival in ROTHENBURG, GERMANY against European bands and the winners of the other US cities with the winner getting a 10 city stint on the Vans Warped Tour! I believe that CODE ATOM could do this! We could come to your city with the Vans Warped Tour and rock your @$$3$ off!

Ok so I may have been wrong by quoting $10 at the door. We got this in our inbox at info@codeatom.com as part of a "what you get for enrolling" -type thing:

2) Free V.I.P. ticket for you.
Check out an Emergenza event whether you enrolled or not.
Cover is $15, but you will receive one free ticket by email by clicking here before January 6th 2005.

So pre-buying the tickets would be the way to go for the ones we have. Because the tickets we have say $10 on the stub (even if it's a typo... TOO LATE, mwa hahahah). So if you're wanting to come to the show and want to pre-purchase a ticket let me know by PMing me or e-mailing me at rey@codeatom.com . If you do pre-purchase a ticket we will DELIVER THEM TO YOU! Plus, we will give you a cd copy of our last acoustic show on the Marietta Square complete with an alternate version of Momentary (because I forgot the words) Laughing

We got an update on the Festival line-up and had to change our bulletins accordingly. So, here goes:

We were contacted via e-mail by a representative of the Emergenza Festival (an international music festival taking place in USA, Canada, and Germany) asking if we wanted to participate. After some investigation we found out that, if we win, we not only go to Rothenburg, Germany to perform the rest of the Festival there, but after that we get scheduled on the VANS Warped Tour!! So, talk about getting STOKED!! We found out that the first two "rounds" of this fest's ATL showcase is ALL fan based. We play for the crowd and, by a show of hands, we get to move on to the next round.

This is the part where we can help each other. The night's line-up consists of LILITU, BLIND DOG, CLARK CAN'T, DOWNPOUR, AFAR, PHAZERS ON HIGH, ADAMSON SQUARE and us: CODE ATOM! The tix are $15 at the door or $10 if you purchase them in advance from us (and, in most cases, we will deliver them to you personally) !! That's only $1.25 a band and I promise you that Code Atom will make the ticket worth every penny by OURSELVES!! So, come check us out and help us out and you won't regret it.
