Here is the official sign up and info thread for this years PO birthday shindig, community meet and greet and all around fun-lovin anime convention!

REGISTRATION

We are currently locking down the group membership. This way we can pass the savings on to our members here (and family and friends if you desire). Here is the pricing structure:

Registration from March 2nd - August 25st:
Paypal and snail mail should reach me NO LATER THAN Aug 19th.

$20 - snail mail (check/money order)
$21 - Paypal

NOTE: Anime Weekend Atlanta will also have a Formal Dance. If you wish to attend, please add $10 to your total you would send. I have added dance tickets to a couple of the staff members to be sure we have a couple of additional tickets if absolutely needed.

When sending in your payment please indicate your Full Name, the nickname you would like to appear on the badge and if you are attending the formal dance. I am the group contact and all tickets will be sent to me and I'll hold on to them until the convention. We will have a table in the Artist Alley again this year which is where you will need to stop to get your confirmation letter to receive your badge. Chances are they won't allow us to pick up our group badges all at once but at least we'll have a focal meeting point.

HOTEL

Anyone who stayed in the hotel last year will testify - there is nothing better than staying at the hotel - you don't miss out on anything! The reservations, however, have changed a bit from last year. We tried booking a block of rooms (around 15) and it is just too expensive for us to do so since they expect a night's payment for each room as a deposit.

What does this mean? Well it means that you all will have to arrange amongst yourselves who wants to bunk with who and then call in and reserve.

Also, PO Staff has 3 rooms reserved. You can possibly request to be put on the same floor if you wish by saying you wish to be next to the rooms reserved by Serina Foor.

EXTRA ACCOMMODATIONS

We all know some out of town folks come in for a little extra time to stay in city of PO. For this we have local folks who don't mind setting them up with a place to stay outside of the convention dates. The staff of PO will be staying at the hotel during convention times so please be advised that we will not have the availability on those days for people to stay with us. However, Shino and I (now that I'm in a bigger place) do have room for folks to stay before and after the convention (6 at each place comfortably - more if you utilize floor space). Please let us know if you need a place stay when you sign up or PM either one of us.

TRANSPORTATION

For many of you folks out there who will coming in from out of town, please let us know if you will be driving, flying, going by train or pack mule.
I suggest flying if you don't drive (ask Therin about trains) plus that way we can arrange for bulk pickups from the airport. Or just arrange pickups in general. below are some sites to check out for airfare:

Custom PO Badges

Every year we have special PO brand badges for all the members who attend AWA. If you have signed up for the group AWA membership you are automatically on the list. If you have paid for your AWA ticket outside of the group membership and are a PO member LET US KNOW! We won't know you are attending and therefore will not have a badge created for you if this is the case. Either repsond in the thread here and request one if you are not on the lists below (see below AWA reg list for those who are signed up for a PO badge) or PM either ME or SHINO to be added.

PMS, btw, consists of: Antinua, K-chan, Sketch, Sky, Godwyn, Silvanus (if she comes, which she likely will not), and Keslyn (if she decides to stay with us-- she will likely be coming). Also, Musashi and Shino-sama, but I'm not sure if either of them are gonna be stayin' in the PMS room. xD.
