PO WARS STAT RULES
Ok guys, I felt we needed a centralized location for keeping all the rules and requirements regarding the Battle System, so here goes. I will update this post if any changes to the Battle System rules are made. Most of this is taken from the original rules posted by Shuri, but edited to show the latest changes in the Battle System
Ok, so you might have been wondering what all those odd statistics are that you see out beside some of our signatures. These are the statistics used to compete in the automated PO Wars Battle System Tournaments. Wanna play? Ok, here's how it works...
HOW TO PLAY
To set up your character, simply add your characters stats to your signature and post in any PO Wars Tournament Sign-Up thread with your character's name, class, given stats and the weapon you will be using. Here are the character stats:
-Strength (Increases maximum damage and HP at the rate of 1 HP per point)
-Endurance (Increases HP at the rate of 2 HP per point)
-Accuracy (Increases chance of hitting)
-Agility (Increases chance of blocking)
2500 points are available for you to distribute. Once done, calculate your HP. To do this, multiply your Endurance by 2, then add your Strength. The result is your HP.
Finally, choose a weapon, give it a name and you're ready to go. There are no restrictions for weapons, so feel free to use a Sniper even if you're a magic user. The only requirement is that the name you give must include the weapon type (E.G.: Metro Sniper, Saber of the Templar, 12-Bullet Shotgun, etc.)
-Sniper (40-460)
-Gun (100-400)
-Saw (120-380)
-Partisan (150-350)
-Axe (160-340)
-Mace (170-330)
-Shotgun (180-320)
-Sword (200-300)
-Saber (210-290)
-Blades (220-280)
The numbers indicate minimum and maximum damages respectively. As you see, some of them are riskier than others. Play it safe or play it lucky! ^.^ Here is an example of how to set up your starting stats:

LEVELING UP
There are 50 levels you can obtain. For each fight you win, you earn 1000 experience point. In addition, if you happen to defeat someone who is higher level than yourself, you will gain an additional experience point for each level your opponent is higher than yourself. So, for example, if you are level 1 and your opponent is level 3 and you win, you will gain 1000 expereience point for winning the fight, and 2000 more for your opponent's level. So, for leveling, you need 1000 exp point to go to level 2, then 2000 more exp points to get to level 3, then 3000 exp points and so on and so forth.
Each level gives you 100 bonus points on your stats and 30 bonus points on your weapon. Distribute freely as you see fit!
So for example, I might plan my next level this way: I'll give 40 to my Strength, 15 to my Endurance, 20 to my Accuracy, 25 to my Agility, and 30 to my Maximum Damage. There. That's my level up.
If you level up, simply update the stats found in your signature. You have until the time your BM is ready to post up your next match to do this. Failure to do so will have you do your next fight without your bonus points.
I WANNA FIGHT!!!
Got your stats and your weapon? Okie-dokie. It's simple, just add your stats to your signature and post in a tournament signup thread.
To do that, you'll need a bit of html code. The following code will append your stats next to your signature like everyone else's. This helps to keep stats within signature size limits without stretching the board tables.

Just copy and paste the code into your signature and edit in all your personal stats, replacing anything in bold. Thus, my stats from the example earlier in html would look like the following:

Due to calculating limitations, the only possible fights are one-on-one (sorry!!). The battle system is done so that both fighters attack each other at the same time. Battle ends when one fighter runs out of HP.
SOUNDS HUGE?
Not that much actually. Here's a recap of the steps to take to make yourself a character and challenge someone else:
1) Assign your stat points. You have 2500 to use.
2) Calculate your HP: multiply your Endurance by 2, and add your Strength to get your HP.
3) Choose a weapon and give it your custom cool name.
4) Add your stats to your signature.
5) Post in a tournament sign up thread.
6) Wait for your fight. Once the winner is declared, update your scorecard, and assign points if you have leveled up.
Bingo, that's all! So submit those characters now! Spots are limited!
LIMIT: ONE CHARACTER PER PERSON. ONLY THOSE WITH A PO (OR WAITING ON A PO) MAY SIGN UP FOR THE WARS.
