That's funny because on the forum index, down the page it says:
"Pocket Otaku welcomes our newest member Zorya making a total of 100 registered members."
But in her profile, it says:
"This member's number ----------------------- 99 "

To explain this event...
Ikonboard is wierd when it comes to this. The stuff you find at the bottom of the main index is stored in a file and is updated as they change. But they are not updated backwards. So instead of being smart and doing something like | Code: | select count( * )
from member_profiles |
from the database, they put it in this file that only gets updated when someone is added. I don't remember why but I did delete one member profile and it did not update the number at the bottom.
The member number is taken straight from the database for each user.
So now that I have established my "computer geekness" to Zorya... Welcome again. |
