The Black Sands

[Ultrawolf]

The scorpion gave one last shriek of pain which echoed throughout the pyramid. Deeper within the pyramid more shrieks could be heard in response to this dying call.

[Tobias]

He took large steps as he walked over to the felled beast, and pulled the broadsword out of the beast: "Thank you."

He cleans off the blade, and examines the room, thinking of his best way out, due to the echoing sounds.

[Girkon]

"Ow ow ow stupid monster....." Girkon got up from the floor after his jump. Any sign of anger or malice had left his eyes and he was back to as normal as he usually was. "Mmm I get here for 5 minutes and I hate this place already." Though it was certainly not the end. More chattering could be heard. Though what it meant seemed almost obvious. He turned to Tobias with a nervous look. "Well mister that was good and all, but if we wanna live to figure this out I suggest we RUN NOW!!!" With a dash Girkon took to the hallways. Whatever it was he knew they could not take more of.

[Tobias]

Tobias watched the funny man tear off down the hallway
"Oi...i best be following him...if anything, the fate of luck will be with him."

He dashes off after Girkon

[Ultrawolf]

Tobias and Girkon ran down the halls of the interior Pyramid while the clicking and screeching seemed to echo all around them. Eventually the pair found themselves traveling in growing darkness. Light seemed to fade away the deeper the two traveled down the halls. They arrived at a fork.

Two paths. One in shadows and the other illuminated with some sort of light.

[Tobias]

"You know...i would rather be able to see what problems i have...lets go towards the light."

Tobias takes off towards the lighted hallway.

[Ultrawolf]

As soon as Tobias' feet stepped on the light path, the ground began to gave way behind them. From the dark path came the sound of a gate rising and a deep gutteral growl echoed down the hall towards them.
