Seriously. Staff has it's perks though, like the staff lounge. BUT you prolly wont be spending much time in there at all if you're on security. Those guys are working all day and night. |

I was pretty lucky staffing. I was assigned to Logistics so it was my job to ensure that everything ran smoothly. Hotel Staff did most of the work for us so we got to chill for most of the con. Its prolly gonna be way different at AWA. |

Just working a booth at the con mrits missing out a good portion of the con. Thanks for the info Kai. I hop they have enough staff to go around. As I'm manning the PO booth I'll have to graciously decline. |

Well there needs to be this body guards for one of the special guests.... I can't remember the name... but she's a voice actress and she's supposed to be amazingly beautiful. Gotta interview for that...

At the meeting talk to the director for whatever possition. I've talked to the security director on a number of occasions (though for the life of me I can't remember his name). Anyway he's very nice and pretty laid back so he'll prolly only ask you a few questions. Hell I'd interview for the possition but I'm 5'2" about 200lbs and not very intemidateing (sp?) so yeah...
Oh another perk for staffing (besides the free AWA pass and cool staff parties) alot of the people in the dealers room will give you discounts if you flash your badge. ^_^ |
