DANGIT! That was my 700th post! I was gonna save that for my next EXTREMELY important rant! Bastards! Oh well, I'll haveta rant for post 702 or something like that.

A friend of mine showed me a good point once.

Sales taxes aren't bad, income taxes need to go all together. Why not have a National Sales tax and do away with the income tax.

For example, of the 34% that was taken from my salery, 21% of it was from Federal.

So if we get rid of all income taxes and put a national sales tax of say even 10 or 12%, then we pay taxes only when we buy something. So the poor that don't buy a lot don't pay much taxes, the rich that buy pointless 6 figure priced cars pay a lot. Consider if we buy the same stuff we do normally, we will still end up with an extra (for me) 11% of my salery. That's a pretty big chunk of change.

Anyway. this is wishful thinking as many people don't see it like I do.

The national sales tax is a good Idea in theory. The main thing is that all sales taxes are for is to pay city taxes. (Hence cities make MUCHO moola even though the state is bankrupt)

BUT cities don't trust states and states don't trust feds. So the State would need to trust the Feds to take what they need an nothing more then the cities have to trust that BOTH the states and feds take THEIR share and nothing more. But with the current condition of government and all the liars and cheats on congress then it'll never work. But if we abolish Congress there is a fighting chance.

Which is why Congress doesn't want a National Tax since they know it's the first detour to Unemployment.

In theory, communism actually is a good way of government, only if the rich bastards that abuse their own power just decided to live as an equal with everyone else...Damn human errors!!!

Actually, it's impossible for Communism to work. Namely due to profession.

See, in communism EVERYONE gets paid the same and EVERYONE lives the same way.

So why would you go to College for 10 years to be a doctor just to get paid the same as the guy baggin grocieries at the local supermarket.

Communism is in fact a decent idea but only if people were lobotomized into thinking helping your fellow man by using all the skills you were bestowed with at birth and instilled with via your parents was reward enough. But everyone hates everybody else and people enjoy the thought of stomping people to the ground under the weight of their all mighty pay-checks.

Sooooo yeah, we should get rid of all the people...Then the world would be perfect...We just wouldn't be around to see it...hehehe

i know communism doesnt work, but if it were to work in some freak way, shape or form, it would probably be a great way of governement. Unfortunately, as u stated AZ, its profession and paychecks that make communism impossible
