Wow, do I ever feel like I'm trapped inside of Office Space. While this corporate office thing isn't so bad...it's boring as all hell. Remember the part in the movie where Peter complains that he only works like 15 minutes a day? He was right...but not because of being lazy...just because no one around here does anything anyway. And that's because there's really nothing to do anyway. I've been here all day, and I can honestly say that I've done about an hour's worth of work...and I'm basically commended for it! Maybe it's just slow, or maybe it's just me...I don't know. All I know is that I've watched some of the other people, and they just sit at their desk and don't do anything anway, which doesn't make me feel so bad.
This isn't a complaint, just an observation that I'm making. I would write more, but I really should be getting back to sitting at my desk pretending to do something productive.

I recently moved jobs to a position where there is alot less stress. I am getting used to not have 20 things on my plate. I am finding myself feeling kinda bad about not doing more. I could not imagine doing less. I feel like I am not doing enough work for the pay.
Never thought I would hear myself say that. |

would you rather have a job that's very busy and goes quickly or a job that is slow but not much to do?

Id still have a busy job.
I think I'd be bored out of my mind in a slow job.
I'd rather have the day fly by working on stuff than have it drag out.
Know what I mean?
Somedays you've got nothing to do and the day just seems to drag on and on. I like days where something is always happening. |
