I remembered back when i first rented this game, it was so much fun but alas I forgot about it and never got it but now I have it. (just got it) Though when I first played it I was in it for the fighting but now the Rp part appeals more to me but I wa wondering how number two was, I remember when it came out but never played it and was thinking of buying it but wanted to know if anyone who has played 1 and 2 could tell me about the similarities between the two. |

I rented two, but didn't get too far into it. The story is a little bit better and you have more options of what you can do.
On the other hand I know a few people that prefered the first one over the second. I'm not sure what it got rated at gamespot or anything, but it might be worth looking into. |

None of the WotS game got thier due from game magazines or any reviews I read. Also check out Way of the Samurai 3 which was just recently released under the sneaky code name "Samurai Western". |

Well I went to gamespot but soon after i got there i got distracted so i never looked into it but i did get all the endings except for number 2.. damn you sneaky #2.. anyway i figure i will end up buying WotS 2 and 3 just because. |

I've only played the first one. Didn't realize Samurai Western was pt 3. I love pt 1 so I'd like to give the other two a try.

Ive only player #1 as well, but I was immessly impressed with it and I plan on giving 2/3 a very good lookin over. Samurai Western looks particularly interesting to me because I love teh East meets West genre - Shangai Noon, Rising Zan....its a small gnere, but growing! |

Yeah, I've wanted to see it thrive. What is it about hakama pants and a wide brimmed cowboy hat that just sounds cool. Not to mention 2 belts in a cross style around the wait, one with a katana sheath and one with a holster. Hmmm, this is inspiring me to draw....

im playing the first one right now... well obviously i paused it to type this :p but thats beside the point... anyway i love it, i haven't got to play the other two yet.. im waiting for gamestop to lower there ridculous prices lol.. but i look forward to finally giving them a whirl  |
