So...how many people are gonna be at their local Barnes and Noble for the Midnight Magic party to pick up a copy of the New Harry Potter book?
If you happen to be in Westport, and pass by the B+N there, you'll find me...serving up the food to all the lovely customers for the new Harry Potter book. Tis the life of a Café server!

I am REQUIRED (as is the rest of the staff) to work ALL DAY during Harry Potter day. I work at a Waldenbooks, and the mall we're located in doesn't allow us to be open after-hours, so we're not having a midnight release party =( Instead, we're opening early and the entire staff has to be there.

I'm not gonna be at B&N, sadly, but I will be at a cute little used book store with many small children playing childish games and dressing up a bit. I may just go with my blue dress and a cloak, but it's something. ^_^ (I feel the short skirt would be a bit inappropriate, sadly.) |

Heheh, my friend and I are going to our local BN tomorrow and mingle with the middle schoolers. My dad's reserved the book for me about three weeks ago at a Waldenbooks though, so I'm just going to be there for the festivities. |

You only had six?? Lucky you. X)!
Or unlucky, come to think about it o.O
From what I understand, we are getting in about 1,000 copies of the book. At 20 copies per box, that's 50 boxes o.O and we are a REALLY small store, we just happen to be the only bookstore in the only mall in a city with 60,000 people (not to mention all the people from the small towns around us come to shop here). I am DREADING going in to work today *cries* |

I have my copy. Haven't really opened it yet, but I probably will when I have my haircut appt. later today. Those get -so- boring when you're waiting about.
