Kinda tugs at your heartstrings

Doncha hate it when you fall in love with someone who's never been available, and she's your closest friend? She just recently got married, and then afterward, she tells me that her wedding day was perfect, and that was definitely the right day, but she wasn't sure if it was with the right guy. WTF!?! I tell ya, I'm in an emotional state of crisis. We're so close it's not funny. I dunno what to do. LOL I wrote her a poem. Hopefully she digs it. If you guys want I'll post it in the poem thread. OY, I'm at a loss. I think I just need to meet someone.

Well, I've never been in that position and have it be that big, but in my opinion it wouldn't be very kool to try to get together with a married woman.

hey...im sure there was a reason for it. IF anything, youcan always be bold, and ask her who she would have rather spent that special day with.

But thats being bold. Im not the foremost expert on it...though i may become it within the day.

I understand how this can happen, however, my best advice to you would be to steer clear.

If you guys truly are that close then the feelings must be apparent but the issue is this.

She made her choice to marry who she did. If she is feeling reservations about it then it is for her to discuss with her husband. It would be unfair to him ultimately for her to go on and discuss these private and deeply intimate things with you and leave her husband out in the cold.

Hate to toss a dash of reality in there but they both said vows on that "perfect day" and I'm sure in that was the promise of honesty.

Yeah, I'm with Doot.

You shouldn't help ruin a new marriage just because you like the girl.

She just altered her life completely she's probably still got the butterflies about the rest of her life.

There is a 75% + divorce ratio today...At least half of that number is due to money but all the rest is basic communication which can also be included in the money scheme.

We have a one hour photo (Even less thanks to Digital cameras) society where the satisfaction of things is expected instantly or what you did for satisfaction was a waste.

And yes, I do know how you feel. Her name was Melissa. Of course I'm probably better off now. She's been married 3 times now. But at least I like this guy.

Take a step back. Everything happens for a reason. If you and her are meant to be together, then it will happen. Just be patient.

What a frustrating situation. You can't help falling in love with someone, but you can help how you handle it. Doot and co are right and if you care about her as much as you say - you won't make her mind muddled and her doubts about the marriage further by telling her how you really feel. You owe it to her, BECAUSE you love her, to let her have a happy marriage.

Ack it hurts, emotion is a bitch like that, but if you meet new people, you might find someone too. Stay friends with her, stayt close of course. Although... I think hanging on the threads of 'if you are meant to be, it'll happen' is a trap that a lot of people fall into. You need to live your life too, after all.
