Hey Sciler, how long was the MC run? I've heard it takes some people like 10 hours. Is that true? That's ridiculous...

MC runs are usually split up into days. You get an instance timer just like Onyxia. Once you kill the first boss (lucifron) the timer is started and for 5 days, everyone in that raid will only be able to get into that instance.

There are 10 bosses in Molten Core. Lucifron, Magmadar, Ghennas, Garr, Baron Ghedon, Shazzrah, Sulfuran, Golemag, Majordomo, and Ragnaros. Guilds on my server do it like this. Lucifron, Magmadar, Ghennas, and Gar the first night. Which all together takes about 3 hours. Give or take an hour depending on if you have the ideal class makeup or not.

Next night goes Baron Ghedon, Shazzrah, Sulfuran, Golemagg, and if time permits they will go ahead with Domo. Since the first 2 bosses are right next to eachother on this night it still only take about 3 hours.

Then they have 3 days left on their timer to attempt to kill rag. The only way to summon Rag is by killing domo and he only stays spawned for an hour. So each time you enter the instance to attempt rag, you have to kill domo, but since he drops loot and the fight is pretty simple, most guild just go ahead and get the first kill out of the way on the second night. And No he does not drop loot everytime you kill him, only once during each timer.

My guild has yet to down rag, but we can clear MC in 3 days. We havent attempted BWL yet. But Onyxia is our bitch. On a bad night it takes us about 15 minutes to kill her.
