The "we don't make enough money" thing is actually the most valid point anyone could bring up over baseball. It's exactly that disparity in income that makes some teams able to make the playoff year after year, while others, unless they get REALLY lucky with their farm system, are seemingly doomed forever to be, for all intents and purposes, minor league teams. It was such a breath of fresh air last year to see the little guys knock off the big names. Hooray for the Angels.
The Onion, as usual, is able to cleverly give their opinion on the matter. |

They have the Onion in NYC, for free I believe. Or at least when I saw it it was. It's like the Village Voice, if you've heard of that. You can pick the Voice up around the city for free, but outside of the city it costs money, as does a subscription.
