No pics yet until we get a scanner (could be soon), hence my confusion as to where to post this.
I just wanted to say that I started up drawing again after 3 years of not doing so (basically the entire time I have lived in North Dakota). For just transfering images over (i.e. drawing something that already exists in a picture, etc.) I'm not too bad. At least my Chi picture came out relatively well, other than the left cheek being a bit too long. However, let me just say that it is near impossible to draw my own characters after so long without practice. It is doubly hard since I hadn't practiced original characters/poses much before I stopped drawing. 
So I'm back to my How To Draw Manga books and trying to relearn all the steps involved. When I draw something that is already there, I just draw. I don't do all the lines, etc. that one uses when creating a pose/character from scratch, so it's a bit off a different world. |
