So I can prevent Riva and myself from jacking Kei's thread, I have started my own. Now we can all chatter about our styles and such here. ^_^

You know I love your artwork, I love the sexiness of your characters. I also dont understand how you dont make a mess of a page, do you use really hard "lead" to draw in the sketch lines? coz im kinda heavy handed with a pencil and still get guidelines with a 4H

I use BIC mechanical pencils and those nifty clicky erasers you can get at Walmart, Target, Staples... well damn near anywhere really.

My lead size is 0.5 or 0.7, just depends what I pick up. I don't really like normal lead pencils anymore since I fell into the mechanical pencil market back in school. >_>

It is easier for me to draw thin lines and details with smaller lead, even though I am not very detail oriented in my art. It's all simple.

Bratcat have you ever considered trying out for PO artistry? those are awesome! and it's basicly the same baseline!

I drew 2 of the POs and made the concept for another. It's not as easy to be a PO artist as it seems. = p

I have a really hard time with the style. REALLY hard time. I like proportion.

I'm not good enough or motivated enough these days to have art as a career. Maybe if I get back into school I can, but right now I just don't have the skill needed at all.

Don't put yourself down, skill comes with practice and even people with 'talant' need to work at their skill. What I see is good work from you, you've thought about the character, dedicated a whole page to her and its a groovy design. The super-chibis are cute and make the character page extra fun to view ^.^ I'm going to watch ya on DA, cause I want to see that scanned in version
