It's an online golf game. Think of Hot Shots golf mixed with Gunbound's shop system. I'm really addicted to it, and it has a great community. They even have a guild system, so I'm going to make a PO guild. ^_^ ALso, it's still pretty new, as I haven't seen many people of a high rank yet, so we can become a top guild if we get the dedication! It's a blast, and I hope you all join in. Best of all, it's free to play! ^_^

BTW, there's something to be noted: For those of us who aren't using IE, delete the shortcut on your desktop, because it won't let you start the game. What you do is go into the program file and send the Update.exe to your desktop. This will skip through starting it up via the website.

Also, my ingame name is terin so go ahead and send a buddy request! I just made Rookie E! w00t! I'm going to the Albatross18 forums to ask how to get a guild.

After my first game, I wanna give a few pointers to help you guys on your first game.

1) The woods and irons behave the same in the game. That means you can use a wood in the rough with absolutely no problem. The terrain only affects the end power of your shot.

2) Likewise, you can use your driver on the fairway with no problem. That's realistically a no-no since normally your ball won't travel far this way... but the game allows for it and it goes quite far indeed!

3) The beam above the hole acts like a tractor. So if you have a high-flying ball and it gets into the beam's way, it will be pulled towards the ground more quickly.

4) You earn experience for doing well in the game, and earn money for making fancy shots. In my first game, I finished last but managed to make a long eagle with a 3rd wood. I finished the game with little to no XP but a truckload of money. So don't think all is lost if you aren't faring well today. Focus on making good shots and earning cash.

That and you incurr a penalty if you quit a round early. If you quit too many times you'll be denied certain stuff.

I, too am a big fan of ALbatross 18. I've been playing the Japanese version months before the US beta came out, and I am hopelessly addicted.

BTW Terin, I, too, am interested in starting a PO guild. If I remember correctly, you can make one on the fly right in the game. If you're still interested, e-mail or YIM me, and we'll work out some details.

wow shuri, You've been playing ALOT! I checked the forum and apparently they haven't released a guild system yet, but it is in the works. I'll keep you posted.
