You guys all know by now that I hate electrical circuits class with a passion. But this time, my unconditional hate has just been reinforced by what I could call the lowest move ever.
My lab partner and I had been mounting this huge circuit for a lab. Three operational amplifiers, over a dozen condensers and at least a dozen resistances. It took two hours to just put the thing together. After a while, we realize the circuit doesn't work properly, so we stick a "don't touch" sticker on the breadboard, and leave for home. My lab partner comes back the following day and tries to make the circuit work, but fails.
I come to school today because of a final exam. I decide to get in earlier to work on the circuit.
I enter the electrics room to find out the place is a complete mess. There are wires and probes everywhere, plastic bags with trash, empty breadboards, a leftover circuit components box - there's even a pizza on one of the tables.
My circuit? It's gone. Someone stole the amplifiers, wires and consensers, leaving only a small handful of resistors behind.
That's right. Somebody fucking stole an electrical circuit.
In fucking UNIVERSITY, no less!
Someone tell me, how is it, that a UNIVERSITY student is still able to act like a childish pig? How is it that someone who is arguably 18 and over in physical age leave the electrics room in a complete mess? How is it, that despite the so-called "intelligence requirements" to get into any university, people are able to do such lowly actions?
I can't work on the circuit now. The store is closed. I can't go to school on Monday. So basically, we can only restart doing the circuit Tuesday morning.
And because we've lost most of our key components, we have to buy an entire set of circuitry. ALL OVER AGAIN!
It just baffles me how imcomprehensibly fucking stupid people can be despite being in a high-class educational institution. You'd think they'd have learned morals by now, but no! Just as an example, one of my partners in computer was retaking the class because his teammate had been found guilty of plagiarizing. With FIVE other teams. That's right. SIX teams, almost half the class, hand in six works that are exact copies of one another! Or, there's the several times where I see people consistently failing to flush after taking a piss. Or, there's this guy who decides to gratuitiously bash me because my computer can hold 620 GBs of data despite me not doing any video editing. God dammit, I wanna fucking kill this guy.
Why is it that I have to be surrounded by people like this? Why can't people actually BEHAVE for once in their miserable lifetimes?! |

Universities are full of spoiled children that never had to work for anything, so they don't respect boundaries or other people's property. Sorry to hear about that. |

Excuse me? That's definitely not true of all university students, thankyouverymuch. Probably not even most of them.
That said, Shuri, ouch! That's so not kosher on so many levels. If you can find your components on someone else's circuit, I'd say haul them before the Asizes and let them have it.
I'm sorry that you seem to be saddled with dealing with a larger-than-normal contingent of idiots. We're not all like that, really... |

I guess my comment may have been poorly worded. I didn't mean to imply that the majority of university students fit this description. "Full of" was probably the wrong choice of words. Please don't take it personally. |

I know what GD means, in a sense. When I was at Southern Tech, there were a couple kids I knew who never had to work on their own for anything. One's tuition, books, and previous 12 years of tutors were all paid for by his daddy. He was a total jackass, almost constantly drunk, occasionally stoned in class - and somehow he aces his classes (I had physics with him and had to re-explain half of it to him, and somehow he came out with a high A in the class). I won't say most by any means, but there are many out there - and they tend to be the loudest ones. |

You'd be surprised what idiots steal, about a year ago some idiot decided to steal a sponge bob manicon off of a damn car. WHAT THE HELL!? What value will you get out of that morron!? But anyways, I totally understand your situation. People that are capable of doing such low acts to me have a sign on their forheads that say "Suck at like" I hate it for you that you have to waste more money on more supplies now.. and redo it. I had to do that tomany times where I work on things that took almost a decade to complete. It's a pain in the ass |

Im assuming you meant "Suck at Life", if so..I'm inclined to agree. You could argue that desperate people do stupid things but in reality I'm gonna cop out and say it's just incompetent students who felt like taking an easy way out. |

That sucks majorily dude. On every campus there are still those few who haven't figured out they aren't in highschool yet and unfortunately not all of them fail out,
I hope it all goes smoothy for you this time. |
