So I went to Lews' on saturday to spend the weekend for his BDay. Lots of crazy stuff happened, most of it was tonight starting from around 9 or so to 2:30. Maryland got hit pretty hard by the snowstorm, we had at least 2 feet by Sunday. We had to shovel the driveway naturally. Once we got to the end of the driveway, the top of it had already started piling up by 2 inches. We just gave up after a while. After that we went for a fricken walk. I thought Lews' mom asked us to go to the grocery store, so I wasn't gonna sit there and say no to her. I had to turn back about half way. It was just too cold for me. Near his house, Lews told me he volunteered us to walk and I almost killed him. Nothing interesting really followed that. Sunday was boring too. We played Magic and GameCube all weekend, so nothing out of the ordinary. Monday we went sledding and stayed in the rest of the day. But last night was the greatest. We started off watching a British show called Jeeves and Wooster. It was pretty funny, Im not a fan of British accents though. Oh, we watched Kenshin, which is a really good anime IMO. Then we started playing Magic once everyone went upstairs, thats when the fun began. One of the first funny things that happened was when he misplaced his hand (Magic). We don't know what happened to it, it just was gone. We searched everywhere for it, underneath everything we could lift up and on top of all the surfaces of tables and stuff. We found it...in the middle of a completely random deck that neither of us was even using. We started to not be as serious in our matches, we would do random things just for laughs. But this one time, we got into a half an hour game. We sat there doing the stupidest things for no reason at all. He kept putting creatures, specifically beasts out, and I was just killing off my own guys. We sat at a standstill not attacking eachother for a long time. He eventually got 19 beasts out and I had a wall and some soldier card, neither very strong. He then proceded to use a card called "Thunder of Hooves," which does the following: Thunder of Hooves deals X damage to each creature without flying and each player, where X is the number of beasts in play. Now, in case your not familliar with Magic, you start with 20 life usually. Lews played this card and did 134 damage to me and 19 to himself. He declared victory claiming that he had 1 life left and I was negative...lots. I reminded him that I dealt damage to him earlier and called it a dool...draw, I mean draw. Whats a dool? anyways. He said this "No it's not a...oh yeah, draw." It took us a second or two to let it sink in and we started bursting out laughing realizing that we spent the last half an hour doing absolutely nothing. We played a few other matches randomly bursting out laughing. We played with no regard to rules from that point. Then on one of our no rules games, I said that I put really strong creatures out...from nowhere at all. He said "NO" and immediately afterwards, his right cheek started to twitch violently. After watching it for a second or...5. I fell backwards and hit my head against the wall laughing. He noticed it too and also started to laugh, man you guys should have seen it. Then we just stopped playing and got on PO. Im also putting a sorry in here for anyone I forgot to email, his computer was down until now so I couldnt send you any. You 3 know who you are. |
