War on Kamchaka - We're closing in (Updated 3-02)

OOC: so, uh...is this thread dead, or what? i myself have been busy with midterm kinda stuff the last week or so - did every single one of us fall victim to similar demands? imma pick up where i left off, but without others posting my involvement in this plotline is going to quickly become pointless...

BIC: Prince Dietrich von Brünnerheim continues to spur his men on through the last few miles of jungle between them and the South Pass. After a time, one of the forward scouts raises a hand in the 'halt' sign. The party stops immediately, and Deitrich and Captain Burgess approach the scout.

"Looks like fresh tracks," he explains, pointing out the tell-tale signs of recent passage through the underbrush. "Could be several dozen, heading in the same direction we are, not more than half an hour ago."

Dietrich and Burgess exchange glances. "We can no longer count on a waning battle, my lord," Burgess observes. "These may be reinforcements, and -"

"And we can't afford to dally with fresh troops," Dietrich interrrupts. Suddenly his eyes flash with a singular silver glint, and his body levitates rapidly up between the trees. Burgess can hear the faint rustle of unease this causes among the men, who are still unsettled by even the most basic of Prince Dietrich's strange abilities. But Burgess himself is used to this, though the Prince's mental powers are another story.

Dietrich descends lightly from the treetops a moment later. "Change of course, Captain - if we strike due north from here we shall come upon the western entrance of the city. We can only hope that the figthing is yet confined to the South Pass alone." Burgess hurries to signal the men into a new formation as Dietrich disappears amongst the trees. His feet were moving even before he'd lowered himself to the ground.

[Reverend]

OOC: Yes, it's time for a revival, and the War is back and ready to rumble.

BIC: Airius pulls out his commustone and relays his previous orders, namely that Takao, Jondyn, and BWS-1 should with draw their forces and make for Shino's base. Azurel and Cobbi are to fall outside of the city and hold off until Airius calls for them. Demonic should march towards the city and Akira's forces stay with Airius's. With that, his troops break off for their designated areas. Airius then pulls out a small stone in the shape of Mod's symbol.

"Attention Shino, I know that you can hear this. I am waiting for you inside the city. I am willing to offer you a on shot attack onto this location, but only if you and your forces, however many you wish to bring, meet me at the temple in the city square in ten minutes. (Ten posts, be forwarned because something will happen then) I'll be waiting Shino for your response."

Airius turns to Akira who is still with him. "I hope you're in for a scrap, cause this is going to be big...."

Demonic reaches his destination at the south pass, notices the fighting, and decides to use the west pass. His troops are in bad enough condition as it is.

[Therin]

...Ok. I'm finally back. Having given up trying to figure out where I am, I'm just going to say that my troops are leaving the south pass and heading north.

[Reverend]

"All troops, make sure you arrive in designated locations, or at least close enough away as humanly possible." Airius begins pacing as he checks in with his own NOCturnes scattered about the city.

"Soon, very soon..."

Cobalt, tapped into the broadcast sent out by Airius, hears of the challenge made to Shino... He frowns, disappointed by no one's interest in attacking from the air, and calls his NOCturnes to return to him, his griffon steed flying him back into where Airius awaits.

Cobbi speaks into his commustone, "I'll lend a bit of a helping hand, if you don't mind..."

His steed then perches on the archway leading into the city. The rest of the NOCturnes take flight and perch on rooftops throughout the entire city. Upon a single command, they all turn to stone. However, their golden eyes remain awake, ever watching as the time ticks away.

"If you so desire Cobalt, you can stay by my side for this battle, I had hoped that you'd either disobey me, or take my orders to heart, so I can't say I am upset." Airius turns and his face distorts for a moment, quickening his pulse.

"My Jagganoth is dead, this should singal that the fighting in the south pass is coming to an end. Hopefully, Demonic will arrive soon, and then my plan will go into action."

B takes a look out of his scope and spots someone coming in his direction, someone with some troops ... friend or foe? That is the question ...

"Hey you there, ya you! can you tell me where to go to take Shino's base?, he shouted at the leader of the troops (Lews) while taking aim, just in case he'd be an enemy"
