Thats a pretty good list set, methinks. Needs more circulation - I fit several of these criteria.
Youll notice as you get older that women start to gravtitate away from the guys that were popular in highschool and their maternal instintcs kick in - they start looking for me with teh qualities of a typcial highschool nerd, who is now in college and advancing a career or layign plans for one. Nerd get chicks, we just have to wait for women to come to their senses.
In the coming generateions, though, I ve seen more and more that guys arent teh only "geeks" and theres plenty of girls becoming part fo this formerly male dominated subcultre. Itll be interesting to see how things turn out in twenty years among yougn people. |

It's becoming easier to find the people who are your fellow geeks, Dai. And more and more, the geeks have been welcoming the women who might have an interest in their games, who can code like they do, etc.
"You're Trinity? The one who hacked the IRS d-base a few months ago? I thought you were a guy."
"Most guys do."
I do like the list - and there are probably an embarrassingly large number of those points that apply squarely to me. |
