Buda stepped back from the cricle of stones and inhailed deeply. His fire was going very nicely. An old story teller once told him about a certain wood that when burned pruduced a chemical that enhanced the imaginations of those that could smell it. It made stories more real for the listeners, got them very involved. Not to mention it smelled preaty nice. He looked up and saw the last rays of the sun retreating over the horizon. The stars were begining to come out, and the moon was a sliver low in the sky.

Buda looked over at his infernal sword, point down in the earth.

"No, it makes me look like who I am and you look like the devil you are."

Oh, such harsh words heh heh. You just might make me cry.

Buda ignored him and looked around. There was alreay a low squatish boulder near the fire to sit on, but he draged a few logs up to it for anyone that wished to listen. Tonight, he and KiSin would relate the begining of their long freindship, and how he begun to save buda from himself.

KiSin appears, sitting on a branch in the tree looking at the moon. "My kind of moon" he said with a smile. He breathed in the arouma of the sparkling fire. He then jumped down and sat next to Buda. "How are you on this peaceful evening my friend?"

Buda sighed. "Its hard to say. Excited? happy? Nervous? Perhaps a mixture of all three." As he looked into the fire, he absently scratched his chin. Then he looked over to KiSin. "At least its bound to be an intresting story."

Walking through the forest, Kei begins to see flittering in the distance not so far away, as he pushes aside the shrubs and cobwebs, to get closer he begins to smell smoke. "Camping?" he thought to himself. He walks closer and comes apon a small ledge overlooking a campfire and two warriors, one in a grey chain-mail and white cloak. The other in pure black clothes. He imidiatly recognized them. As he kneals down on the ledge he begins to listen to their conversation. "Some of Buda's words are very helpful and full of wisdom." he says. "Perhaps they can help me incourage my students more" he sits there and listens intently.

KiSin laughs a little. "Of course! Now that I think about it. It was a very interesting time." He sat there and thought about it. "What brought him out again?"

As Kei listens, he gets tired of just knealing there. He jumps down and desides to greet his friends. "Oi, Mena-san," he says witha smile as he comes and sits down next to Kisin and Buda. "I started getting intrieged by your conversation, and it was kind of chilly up on that ledge so i thought i'd join you two by the fire." ^_^

"Hello Kei, everyone is welcome here." He indecated the logs and boulder with a wave of his arm. "Pleanty of seats to go around."
Buda looked at KiSin.
"Anyway, for almost a year after we split, neither of us had any control whatsoever. We would just randomly pop in or out. I could be in the middle of a senance and he would pop in. He was the first one to learn to keep control, and block me from taking it. Those were awful times, he loves to pillage and plunder, just for fun. No other reason than that he takes pleasure in killing, espetialy helpless people."
A wisper on the wind was just barely audible above the crackling fire.

They werent all helpless, all of the gaurds had weapons.

"You can keep your mouth shut until someone asks you a question."

"Most of them were," he said in a half-angered tone. "Anyway, All I remember was seeing smoke from Kanamira village and seeing Tharael about to kill some children, if I recall correctly." KiSin looked over at Buda to see if it was correct.

Kei looks at both buda and Kisin,"If you don't mind me asking, what made the split in the first place?" he ask.

"Yes, thats about right. He had just started most of the fires, and had turned his attention to the unfortunate villagers." He looked over to Kei
"As for the split, that involved a crusade, and a half-granted wish, by the former us; but, thats another story, and one i'm not quite ready to tell."
Buda looked into the fire, "KiSin arived in time to save the first batch of villagers he had collected. Why dont you start, and tell us how you came to find Kanamira."
