Battle Of the Blades - you think your swords good enough?

[Zzyxx]

Zzyxx does a sideways flip to avoid the the blow and reshethes his second sword, he doesn't need it yet. When he lands he makes a downward slash aimed at Godwyn's torso.
"Close, but more like sudden and heavy."

[Diablo]

Diablo walked in, his immense body heat warming the area around. Diablo glanced at Zzyxx, smelt Tobias and noted him in the count, then the bird, and his opponent, Kei.

"You their, samurai. Believe you can kill a demon?"

[Godwyn]

Godwyn steps to the side of the blow, using his sword to guide it away from him, then adds force to the blow to drive the sword towards the ground and try to throw Zzyxx off balance. While doing so, Godwyn sidesteps once more to bring himself to one side of Zzyxx.

[Zzyxx]

Zzyxx was thrown off balance but he used the momentum to just tuck and roll safely out of distance from Godwyn's blade before popping back up ti his feet facing Godwyn. "Nice move."

[Godwyn]

Godwyn bows slightly, but not enough to lose sight of his opponent. "My thanks." Then, Godwyn levels his sword at Zzyxx, parallel to the ground, and shifts his weight to lunge. Suddenly, just before moving, Godwyn shifts his weight just enough to lunge not straight at Zzyxx, but to towards his side, turning his strike into another slash.

[Zzyxx]

Zzyxx rotated his sword out and away, parrying the blow bhut using it to glide toward Godwyn, when he was sufficiently close enough, he threw a quick elbow at Godwyn's ribs.

[Godwyn]

Godwyn accepts the blow to the ribs, as it is far less dangerous than a blade, but moves with it to soften the force, and takes the opportunity to catch Zzyxx' arm. Keeping the blade of his sword in line to parry Zzyxx blade if necessary, Godwyn rotates his arm to bring the pommel at a jab towards Zzyxx temple.

[Zzyxx]

Zzyxx failed to see the hilt comming and takes a blow to the head. He staggers back disorented, but he recovers his wits within a few seconds, not quicly enough to mount a counter offensive.

[Godwyn]

Hoping to use his current advantage to its fullest, Godwyn abandons his mostly cautionary tactics, to try and keep Zzyxx from recovering completely. Even while disoriented, Zzyxx still manages to parry the attacks expertly, and the arena is momentarily filled with the ringing of blades, as their swords meet time and time again, until the fighters part once again to try and spot another opening.

"NOt bad, in fact i am impressed. Most humans simply aren't that good."
Zzyxx takes on a surprising;y open stance, almost inviting attack from any and every direction.
"But weight of experiance may yet prove to be too much to overcome."
