FlyFF: Fly For Fun

So, I had beaten my recently bought video game today and went on a search for things to do, it led me to this MMORPG.

It looks fairly typical (I got to play 20 mins before they took the server down for maintenance :p) with the exception of the game's ride system. The continents are floating islands, so your only option is to fly. You start off (when you're able to fly) with a broomstick. You can eventually buy better looking broomsticks and hoverboards and the like. Another plus in this game seems to be the variety in items available. Check out the demo videos.

You play as a generic character up til level 15 when you can choose which class you want.


They seem to not have good control of their servers yet, but their source of income for the game isn't secure yet. The game is and will remain free, so they're going to open up a cash shop where you can purchase rare items for actual money.

As a note, when you're registering for the game, you can't use capital letters. That caused me 15 mins of wondering why "Azurel" was not a proper ID. "azurel" works fine though. This only applies to your register ID, you get 3 character slots per register ID which you can actually capitalize :p
