Glarg. *falls over from dizzyness* Fatigue sucks.

Word from the wise:

Never treat your body like crap like Katana does. This includes:


-Sleeping little and eating less
-Running yourself too-high stress
-Overworking yourself
-Insisting you're alright when you really aren't: Emotionally or Physically
-Always go to the doctor when you're sick.
-Always take care of yourself nutritionally (vitamins, medicines you need, ect)
-Always dress for the weather

But mainly: Sleeping little and eating less...

I need to start eating more...I eat breakfast, and occasionally lunch...not to say that I'm anorexic...I eat if I get hungry...I'm just not usually hungry...And I only sleep maybe, four hours a night...And this is what I get for it:

I'm dizzy, my vision's blurred around the edges, I'm shaky, My head hurts, I feel sick at my stomach...

Sigh. I think it's fatigue...or at least a good friend says it is...I faintly know some about fatigue...and I *think* I know what I know...but i'm not sure...anyone care to enlighten me on this?

In short, yep, you need to rest more. If you dont rest more, your body will start to break down, because it needs a certain amount of sleep everynight to basically rejuvinate and prepare for the next day. And if you dont get enough, even if it doesnt affect you for a couple days, it will ALWAYS catch up to you, to the point of you passing out. its not really healthy, so my suggestion is to start slow, MAKE yourself go to bed (its what I have to do) and once you are there, lay there and try to go to sleep, if that doesnt work, try reading, that sometimes will help me if its late at night. Besides that eat at least one-2 meals...that will help you get more energy. ANd as for the stress, jsut try to take time to just close your eyes and relax. Even if its only for a few minutes, closing your eyes and just kinda trying not to think of anythng, will help you feel a bit more destressed once you open them again. its kinda like meditating, just for a short periodof time. That can help me sometimes.

Hmm, this should tell me something. I dont really sleep, as anyone who's online past 2 o'clock can tell you. I wake up to go to school at 4:30, so you can imagine. But Im usually up and awake by then. I, despite my size and weight, don't eat that much, maybe school lunch and thats it on good days. I'm burdened with my own and several other relationships. Though mainly other ones cuz I have no big stress-related problems with my own right now. I'm constantly lifting heavy things, although thats more of a training excersise than work. Emotionally, I know I'm screwed. But I tell myself that my body is fine even when I have problems with it. I havent been to the doctors in a good 3 years. I dont really notice nutrition so I cant go and manage it very well. I wear short sleeves and pants almost no matter what the weather. Ill occasionally bring my only coat, but thats only for use for the time I walk to the bus stop in the morning. I dont use gloves, boots, or hats.

I get shaky and my head hurts constantly too. I dont know about fatigue, this has gone on much of my life and I just pass it off.

So we may both be just a little messed up. But either way, your not alone.

i have to completely agree with sci on this one.

I make sure that i get at least 8 hours of sleep. If i dont get it, i may get an energy boost in the morning, but it definitely wont last, and i bonk (biking term for completely exausting your energy) And for food. Breakfast should always be eaten, especially when you just wake. Getting the nourishment that you need in the morning will make you feel much better in the day, and give you more energy. I can tell you this because im a rare type of person, whereas i actualy eat breakfast before i leave for school, which no one else does in my age level. As for lunch, its a good boost in the middle of the day, and dinner is always good to have. And for teh relaxing, when you come home from school, or whatever it may be that you do after education, just sit down, or lay down, on a couch or ur bed. I do that every time i get home, and i usually can get focused on my work better. Also, it sounds like you get too enveloped by ur work. All you have to do is just task ur work. By this, i mean sort out your priorities instead of just diving in...it will allow you to work faster and not worry about anything else.

Thats my two cents on teh situation. Hope that it helps Very Happy

Sigh. I just layed down. I just cried. Did I mention that sleep deprivation knocks my horomones off balance and makes me a weepy little girl? But, anyway, I'll try Sciler's plan, but I've pretty much thrown it off for tonight.

As for breakfast, I couldn't agree more. It's the first thing I do in the morning. My grandparents wake me up, lead me to the couch, and present me with breakfast...(Either somthing out of the toaster, or somthing good where my grandmother makes it. ^^ )

Katana! *is worried* You need to take care of yourself! Sciler is right. You need at LEAST 8 hours a night of sleep. And AT LEAST two meals a day! Please please please PLEASE try and get some sleep! And food! You'll feel a lot better and then you won't cry. It's not good to have friends crying. Feel better soon!

Another key? A healthy excersice regimen. Your body will feel refreshed from all the endorphins, this will also help with mood swings, depression and insomnia.

Even it's for 30 minutes a day, try some vigourous working out and it will get your body into a mode of where the rest will come easy. Not to mention release the juices inside to make you happier.

ahh, then there is the other alternative to getting an endorphin rush...eat really hot hot suace, or eating an extremely hot pepper. Trust me, you really feel all happy and cant get hurt easy from the endorphins Very Happy
