Hello everyone! It's you friendly neighborhood Sakura! For those who don't know me, I'm Doot's younger sister who is never really on PO and should be shot for that. -dodges bullets- Not really! But ooook!
I am here to ask you:
-Do you have dreams?
-Do you have dreams that seem to make sense?
-Do you have dreams that you don't understand?
Well fear not everyone! I am taking a psychology class, and I'm in love with interpretating dreams! For example my friend's dream, Amber:
It started out in like, this park or whatever. But the park was empty and it was just me swinging. There was like, three feet of snow all over the park, except around the swing where I was, where everything was in full bloom and springy like. And I was humming 'goodbye' to myself while I was swinging, and then someone caught my swing from behind all of a sudden, but I didn't feel scared. I just smile and tilted my head back to look at them upside down and all I saw was a shadow but I could tell they were smiling too. And then they gave me a push and my swing went way high all hippie acid trip like (my only description for it. D: ) and I sort of went flying... like how kids did in elementary school off the swings. And someone else caught me but I couldn't see them that well either because the sun was shining too brightly despite the snow all around our little springy area.
My Intrepretation:
Well, the snow can mean that you are feeling unable to express yourself emotionally, or that you are being deceit or trickery. The shadows are undiscovered potential within. With the springy weather under you it shows that you, in your area is soon to feel uplift, joyful, full of life. Spring represents new beginnings, new life, and new opportunities. Alas, with the swing, it is something that is allowed freedom of expression. being caught after you fly, which flying means connecting with you spirit, or aiming high, rising above a sitatuion, but being caught can mean being secure, or tricking someone, or in fact, being attractive towards another. It could also mean decieving someone, but you can take it how it is.
What she said about it:
It could be that the snow is a symbol of the inner 'life' of me being stifled into one space, but in that space is the swing, which gives me my freedom of expression; freedom of expression stifled? Flying off the swing could signifying trying to break free of my boundaries.. the person catching me could either be them making sure I don't fall in my pursuit, or on the other hand, it could mean that they're keeping me from going any further. It makes sense, I'm trying to break free from many things in my life and I feel stifled.
~~~
So in other words, I would love to help find the meaning to dreams that make sense already, or to dreams that don't make sense!
You can keep it private, like in a private message, or you can post it right here! I love to help decode dreams for those who are in need to figuring out what it means.
My love and I had two totally opposite dreams, but the deep meaning behind them matched perfectly. It's strange, but it's great! Just do this information:
Your Dream:
Do you want the interpretation private or no?
And after the interpretation, please tell me ifit's accurate or helpful at all! This will really help me a lot! Thank you~!
Okay, I had this dream when I was about 13, but I've never forgotton it because it always BOGGLED me O_____________O
I was on a field trip with my classmates, and we were all in a big yellow bus, and suddenly we drove off of a CLIFF and went into the sea. The teacher acted like she had planned it though, so we were "discovering" things in the sea and somehow we could breathe underwater. And then we went into this place that (while still under-water) looked like the apartment my dad used to live in, and there was a bed in the middle of the living room. On top of the bed was a pile of Pop Tarts. Some of the kids ran up and grabbed them and ate them, and then they turned into SODA CANS. Then Ginger, my dog at the time, ran to the Pop Tarts, and I tried to stop her, but it was too late--she ate a Pop Tart and turned into a barking soda can.
Then I woke up.
Well, the feild trip is almost like a trip, so it means you need a break. The yellow on the bus can me joy, or it can mean cowardice. The cliff can mean a major decision or life change that needs to be made. Now if you have a comfortable breath it may indicate a relaxed, happy, easy approach to life, if it's difficult it may denote being unable to live in a state of allowance, living in a state of high resistance. The apartment building can indicate something new building in life. Food is always a symbol of comfort or security and since it's sweet, the pop tarts, it deals with joy. Also, the soda can indicates having a positive "I can" attitude, or quitting something. With your dog, it shows friendship, loyalty and indicates obedience, but not in this dream, ne? Hehe.. A barking dog may serve as a warning of imminent danger. It can also mean a nuisance or something is bothering you.
I really hope that helped at all!
And - yes - gaaz. I will be on! XP |
I probably did need a break at the time. Yellow for cowardice, because I was afraid of school (I was bullied quite a bit). And at the time, a major life change was needed (it happened). I don't think the ability to breath meant anything. I think the building might have been more significant or had a different than that, because it was the old apartment building; a lot of crap happened there. I don't think you got the food part right...it was very horrific, watching people turn into soda cans, so I don't think it meant comfort or joy.
Thanks for the interpretation ^_^ You were doing really good at first, but I don't think the second half was right. |
My dreams often feature me as a gun-toting outlaw. And even if I'm not an outlaw, I'll have a gun. The weird part is this: a person and I can shoot each other at point-blank range and yet never hit each other once. What's more, the trigger of my gun tends to feel very heavy, and I have trouble getting the gun to fire if at all. The only time I managed to drop someone with a gun was when I shot a family member. And the only time I suffered a shot was when I got shot by a celebrity. What the hell? |
I've had this recurring dream since I was a kid.
It's not always exactly the same but mostly the same scenario.
It'd be me and a few other people (usually people I knew or was close to at the time) holed up somewhere trying to survive some disaster or other. And as I hard as I try I can't save anyone as they fall one by one. Sometimes it might be monsters, or zombies, sometimes I don't know what it is. I always end up making a promise to somebody that I'll do my best to keep them safe. But one by one everyone dies until I'm all alone. Then whatever it is that's chasing me taunts me with my failure before cornering me where I wake up.
My theory is that my mind is trying to tell me that I'm not superman. That people close to me will get hurt, regardless of what I try to say or do. |
Ok, just to warn you, I've been told I have some messed up dreams. It was a while ago that I had this dream, but I've been wondering what it means since dreams are supposed to contain hidden things about our subconcious.
It started out with me and my family looking at a house (we were about to move) and it was really nice. It was a sunny day, and the yard was nice, the house was pretty and it was white. Also, it was brand-new. As I'm walking around the house, I notice this green garage door that doesn't match up with the rest of the house because the paint is chipped and the wood is rotted. I walk in and I'm in a dark room with old, dark, dusty furnature, and dead people are sitting on it. I'm not afraid, I'm just kind-of there. I see someone I recognize, and walk up and shake her because something doesn't seem right. She opens her eyes and tells me to leave her alone because she's dead. Oh, and all the windows are open all over the house, but no light is coming in even though it is very bright outside. If I had entered the house from any other door, I know that I wouldn't have come to this room. Any idea what this means?  |
