I was thinking of reading the comic first, but my local comic guy gave me some good advice: See the movie first, that way you actually enjoy it and aren't disappointed when the movie doesn't fit the comic so well. And, it'll just make the comic that much better when you read it.
Makes some sense. Although I tend to enjoy these kinda movies regardless. I'm not very picky. |

The movie was awesome. It's worth a theater ticket price. The resident ocmic expert that I went with said that it was also fairly faithful to the comic series, as well. So go see it. |

Ming and I saw this movie last night (on our anniversary, how romantic...haha), and it was AWESOME! I wasn't expecting to like it so much, because I'm not usually into those kind of movies, but I couldn't help it! It was interesting the whole way through!! I can't wait to read the comic, which I don't usually do either, but again this movie was sooo awesome!
I agree, it would have been awesome if it came out on the 5th of Novemeber!! |

I just picked up the graphic novel, and I can't wait to start reading it. The movie was excellent, as far as I'm concerned. So I'm interested in seeing how it fares to the actual comic.
Also, outside the theater, there were people dressed up like V handing out flyers in support of anarchy, and illustrating the point that the actual comic has a lot to do with anarchy, but Hollywood toned that down and never specifically mentions it...from what I've gathered anyway. I will report my take on this when I finish the comic...unless someone who has already read it and seen the movie cares to elaborate.
