I almost feel like digging for the old post I made on PSOW about last year's Halloween, and proove you you are SOOO right  and it made a cool story to tell(or annoye people with) to people for the rest of the year too hehe. Swords definitely has a certain appeal and style to then all their own, same goes for the right gun.
Now me personally? As a reverend I tend to shy away from rather sharp objects, BWS-1's style of breaking bones lies closer to my thoughts, but rather than outright break them I like to go with incapacitation. I see no weapon better at that than a good mace. Not a real stubby one mind you, but a nice 2-2 1/2 footer. |

The only reason I don't like maces much is that they don't have a sharp side, and they are way to heavy fro me to cancel an attack or move as I want to move around my opponent. That's just not mys style X-x ... but I do enjoy the bone-breaking part.

Remember in D&D how clerics can't use sharp pointy objects? Well, a cleric is a holy man, and so I put two-and-two together to surmise that I wouldn't use anything pointy.
Henceforth, I've become big fans of Maces, staffs, and just strapping on some armor and taking a fight to close quarters. |

Breaking bones can be less messy then slicing an arm open ^^. I mean you wouldn't want to be the one to clean the blood all over the place after slicing someone to death?

I'd have to agree with BWS-1. I mean, do you know how HARD it is to get large blood stains off the carpet? And don't get me started on shag! Anyway, I'd have to say that I'm more of a Get-behind-them-and-knock-them-on-the-head-and-tie-them-up-so-they-can't-go-after-you kind of guy. Not that killing isn't warrented on some occasions, but usually if you show them that they really can't do anything to you then they'll usually leave you alone. Besides! Dead men tell no tales! Bwa ha ha ha!

Ok, I don't want to be mister "Law n' Order" but huh... not only we all have gone a LIL offtopic in well, almost 3 pages out of 4 but we also have gone into some sadistic talk around here. I personnaly don't mind because I know that well, we're having fun but I wouldn't want any child to read this and take it seriously.
WE DO NOT ACT LIKE THAT IN REAL LIFE. WE ARE ALL GOOD AND NON-VIOLENT PEOPLE AND WE KNOW THAT THE BEST WAY TO SOLVE PROBLEMS IS BY USING NON-VIOLENT SOLUTIONS SO THAT EVERYONE CAN BE HAPPY HAS A PUPPY.
