Sounds like a very very promising technology. Especially if the core's can balance the loads between threads, i.e. Having using 100% of all rescources on one core and then borrowing say 97% more off the 2nd core becuase the 2nd core is only using 3% of its power running some mundane thread like your OS in your backround. |

Looks nifty. We'll see though as there is a lot of room for idle resources on the cores not being utilized which wastes a good amount of processor being utilized. And they make a very good point about the OS or programs not being able to see the cores actually doing what its doing. Kinda like how XP doesn't allow me to have dual processors.  |
