An Oblivion tip for the 360 owners..

Ok, I'm officially obsessed with this game. I bought both the PC and 360 versions, and have played both pretty extensively. I like both versions pretty well, though it does run better on my PC, I still play the 360 version frequently.

Which brings me to my point.

I noticed that the 360 version was chugging during load times, and when opening inventory windows. It would also freeze my console every so often.. about once every 4 hours of play.

Then I read a posting on Bethesda's forums about clearing the game's memory cache from the hard drive. Apparently the game's cache becomes fragmented on some models of hardware.

Hold the A button down while booting the 360, when you see the Bethesda Softworks logo, the process is complete. I noticed a difference immediately. It's sped up my load times a hair, and my inventory windows no longer chug.
