Okay. I was just wondering if there is a good Windows 98 emulator out there, somewhere, that a complete idiot could install.

Theres VMWare for pretty much any platform and then there is Wine for Linux |

Where is it? Virtual PC looks like a possible option, but I'm concerned about both cost, and the fact that it might require a Windows 98 CD. (Which I don't have.)
There is also DOSBox, but last time I tried to use it, I couldn't get it to work. (Especially with Star Trek: Borg...) |

If you want to play DOS-based games, DOSbox is a solid choice. With a frontend (like D-Fend, which was the one I used), it becomes easier to manipulate. If you want Windows 98, though, your best best may be to buy a junker of a computer or a very small hard drive and install Win98 on that. |

Well, VirtualPC has the ability to play Windows 98 game, I know that for a fact. The problem is that I don't have a Windows 98 Install Cd, or the ability to get one! |

If you really want such a thing, I'm sure you can find it in the right places. Since Microsoft doesn't sell it, and will either soon or already has abandoned support for it, you could probably classify it as abandonware. |
