I'm devastated :'(

8:00 am – I couldn’t sleep whole nite and I had weird feeling, I felt uncomfortable and uneasy, I finally get off bed and got on my computer, I skype with few POers and then I excused myself cos I have to go out and run some errands. I was driving and this feelin came much stronger then before, my heart was beating so fast. I felt like something bad is goin to happen, either to me or someone I’m close with or I love.

2:00 pm – I was talking to reaper and I told him how I felt, he told me I’m weird and he jokingly said maybe he is goin to sleep and will never wake up, I told him it’s not funny and cut the crap out.. On a serious note, he told me to stay home and don’t go out.

6:50 pm – I got a text msg from my friend, Alik who is in Russia saying “What happen to Maga? How did it happen? Where is he now?”, I don’t understand what he meant so I tried to call Maga few times but his phone was off, I replied Alik’s text and asked him what he meant. He replied with “He got in an accident and died”. I felt my heart beat stop and I was numb for awhile.

7:00 pm – I called Alik in Russia, I asked him if he’s joking, and he said he wouldn’t be joking bout life and death. At this point I broke down and started crying. Alik didn’t know the details as he just got the news.

7:15 pm – I called Ibrahim, my other friend, who is also Maga’s best friend. He told me Maga was in car accident at bout 2:00 am this morning, he died on the spot. I asked him how it happened, who was with him, if he was drunk, I beg him to tell me where he is cos I wanna go see him. He said Maga was in the car alone, he was not drunk and I can’t see him cos they don’t allow anyone to see him. They’re going to do the post-mortem and send his body back to Russia on Monday.

Magomed who were known as ‘Maga’ to his close friends is one of my best friend. I have known him for 7 years. He’s like a brother to me, he was always there to support, care and protect me.. He’s a good guy and the kind of man who you can have a shoulder to cry on. I can’t believe he’s gone now, I talk to him last week and we plan to meet up this coming week. The last time I saw him, he looks rather tired and worn out, he told me he haven’t been having enough sleep. He likes to drive car very fast but he’s also a good driver. I don’t know if he was tired n sleepy or drunk that nite because he crashed to a divider and there were no other vehicles involved.

I read bout the accident in the paper today and I broke down again, he was not alone and he was not driving. Now they are investigating if this is a murder or accident case. They are still looking for the other person, who ran and disappeared after the incident. Ok who would put his head out of window?, besides Maga stand at 6’ 3”, if you see the car and divider, there’s no way, even if he had his head out that its goin to crash to the divider. Why someone throw his body out the car and left the car 100 meters away? In the Malay paper they mentioned his head and brain were smashed. I called my uncle who is the head of police to inform me the outcome of the investigation, I have to know what happen to my best friend. I’m really devastated. I’ve never lost anyone who is close and important to me so it’s really hard for me to deal with this.

Yeah it's not wierd, but I didn't exactly see this comeing, so I was jokeing with her. She said she just felt something bad had happend, how was I supposed to know?

Skylah, I'm sorry to hear about your friend. Unfortunatly to me, this doesn't sound like something that could easily happen by accident. I hope they find the other person who was in the car and figure out what happened.

it happens. Really wish it didn't happen though, cause its horrible. One can only wonder what had happened in that car before everything had happened.
