Telescopes

I'm looking to buy a new telescope with an automatic celestial finder and wondered if anyone had any recomendations. Right now I'm looking at a Bushnell Northstar this one to be exact:

I have a sudden urge to replace my current Bushnell as it was stolen from me yesterday by a man who told me that the property was no longer mine. >_<;; What's funny is that the idiot when he stole it left the lense! So it's useless to him unless he finds a replacement one. Being a way older model 5+ years old it may be hard for him too. Still kinda mad bout it tho... So any recomendations are welcome. ^___^ <3's~

Edit: Preferabley nothing horribley expensive. I'm just an amature so I don't need the die-hard kind. Preferably within $300 range.

I haven't had a telescope since I was like 10. ^_^

Can you see stuff where ya live? I know where I live you can hardly see the moon let alone stars.

It was mine my father bought it for me when I was 15. As for how the crap came about that it wasn't mine is kinda confusing story. Because apparently the law is on his side somehow. >_<; I'll call you later and tell it to you. Can't see much right where I live but there's a field where I usually go to set it up and star gaze that's perfect. <3's~ ^__^ Nice and dark and out in the country.

I may or may not post the details of how it came about it being stolen but for now I don't have time. lol I get off work in like 5 mins! <3's~ Freedom~........
