I think overall, you end up better off with W/R if you want to play with Flanking. The only Flanking creature that black gets is Skulking Knight, which is by far the worst Flanker in the set, and just not a very good creature in general because it's very easy to get rid of. While you do get good removal with black, I would still venture to say that in this particular archetype, red's removal is far superior to black's. If anything, most of red's removal can be directed at your opponent, which speeds up an already fast deck.

One of the little things I like about time spiral...

If you are lucky enough to get Lightning Axe and the purple Valor, you play the axe, pitch Valor, and you end up with first strike for the rest of the game!

W/R is really good in this set from what I can see. I'm actually looking at a W/R "Fun with Flankers" deck that I just ordered some parts for.

I really would like to get to some Time Spiral Sealed stuff, but it's annoying when the closest place to you has a bunch of Magic Snobs that play.

W/R actually has a surprising amount of good ways to get things into the graveyard. Lightning Axe is one, but also great are Icatian Crier and Flowstone Channeler. And of course there's Jaya Ballard.

I particularly like putting Conflagrate into my graveyard early in the game. Most of the time, the other guy just completely loses track of the fact that it's there, and I have had many games now where I get the other guy down to 4-5, then pitch my hand to Conflagrate for the win, and they don't even see it coming.
