Just wondering if anyone else on PO got a Closed Beta Key. I just got mine in an email last week and am just now getting around to installing the expansion. If nothing else, I can post screen shots in here. |

Yeah, I so posted this in the wrong place. So if one of you mod types would move this thread for me, I'd appreciate it.
Played around with it a bit last night, made a couple level Dranei(SP?) and Bloodelves. They arent allowing Premades just yet, dunno why, but I only get two so I frigure I'll get me a hunter and a shaman to play with.
The new LFG system kicks ass, and the way they have the stats for gear set up makes it much easier to tell exactly what you are getting. |

Also, if we are going to adventure online together then we have to actually coordinate it. I know I'm throwing Planning into Fun but it has to be done to some extent otherwise it'll be like the same prob I had in PSO. We all start out the same but as people's schedules differ you log back in and find you or your friend are now 10-20 levels apart and can't realistically play together anymore. I know this is eventually unavoidable but maybe we can set up (once we get maybe 15-20 POers signed up) kinda like D&D adventures. Say "All Level 10-20 POers meet at this time". I'm sure we'll be able to mail each other if we're online but getting it organized will be the main prob.

Drenai racials are:
Jewelcrafting : Prolly an extra 5 or 10 points base in jewelcrafting.
HoT: They have a racial heal over time that levels with you.
Hit% Aura: Members of your party get a 1% higher chance to hit with melee and spells. (this is much more influential than it sounds)
+10 Shadow resistance
Blood Elf racials are:
Enchanting: Same as jewelcrafting, only with enchanting.
mana drain: An ability with 30 second cooldown allowing you to drain mana from a target.
Aoe Silence: 8yrd range, silences for 2 seconds. It alsow works in conjunction with the mana drain. The more you use the mana drain ability, it stacks as a buff on you. And when you use the Aoe Silence, it gives you a certain amount of mana back depending on how many stacks of the mana drain you have.
Higher base resists in all base magics. (Starts out as 5, may level with you)
There ya go BM. The BE racials are very nice, but I'm still not a horde person so I'm gonna stick with a denai shaman when the expansion releases.

Are the races that already exist receiving buffs to their racials? Those are freaking hefty. |

Ya those racials are way over powered if the other races aren't getting buffed.
Edit: I also have a question. Whats going on with the PVP rewards? I heard you only need win marks, and they have done away with the reputation system and what not. What is goin on with the pvp system in beta? |
