Effing THUGS

Yesterday Charly, Rachael and I took a trip into town.

We mainly went to go to beales to pick up some more woll that Charly was using to crochet Rachael a scarf, we popped into Gamestation, Poundland and Wilkinsons too, and the whole time, a group of lads were following us. They "know" us as 2 of them live either side of Charly's mum, anyway, Rachael started saying "ducks" as we occasionally go to Lidls and pick up a cheap loaf of bread to go to the embankment with and feed the ducks, geese and swans. We needed some more dog food anyway so we went to Lidls, picked up the dog food and a cheap loaf of bread. they didnt follow us here, ubt when we go to the River they were heading over the bridge towards the college, but turned back when they saw us, we though it best to ignore them and went to feed the ducks.

One of them, Ashley, kept shouting "Oi!" but we carried on ignoring them. We stopped to feed the ducks, and they carried on by but stopped further up, Ashley came back towards us on his bike and started saying stuf to me, I dont really know what as I was completely blanking him. I do remember him threatening to push me in the river and then Rachael in the river, my blood was boiling but still I didn't react, thats what he'd want so all his mates could join in.

Then becausehe realised I wasnt going to respond he went to hit me, so i pushed him away, queue all his mates running over and attemting to beat the crap out of me, Charly was trying to push them all off and Rachael started crying (probably didnt help that a Goose was taking bread directly from her hand as we werent there to fend them off) I managed to escape and went to cuddle her, they refused to do anything while I was there. So they waslked off throwing the normal insults of "next time" and what have you. Bloody wankers busted my new coats zip too.

They didn't physically mark me, aside from an egg I have on the back of my head, I dont bruise or cut easily, probably thanks to spending 6 months when I was 13 in the boxing ring, but no ammount of boxing training can help when you have 4 lads punching you in the head, I'm still getting headaches, which kept me awake last night.

We phoned the Police as soon as I got in,we would of paid a visit to the police station but it was wet and cold, I felt dizzy and I was shivering because I couldn't zip my coat up, plus Rachael was getting tired and wanted to go to bed. anyway, the Police said they'd be out sometime during the evening, anytime between when we phoned (at 5:40 an hour after it had happened) and midnight as we said thats when we go to bed. She asked why didn't use a mobile, rem 1 because we dont hasve one and 2 because if those thugs had of seen us phoning them, it would have started again. Police never turned up so Charly phoned them again and we were told "Sometime tomorrow".

yea...thugs tend to not be able to do anything on their own...they usually need a group of people to ever accomplish anything, if they CAN accomplish anything at all.

I await the day they pick on me. They won't know what hit em.

As far as it goes though, it's good to see that you are ok, and that you kept them at bay. You did the right thing in just ignoring them, and keeping your distance as long as possible. If i were you though, i would have just stayed at the mall you were at (at least that's what i coudl think of it as, from the description) and gone and found some security. Well...hopefully, at leas thte security would deterr them for the rest of the day.

Kids' got too much time on their hands if they're gonna go around beating on people like that. Good to know you're okay, Riva, but that's not something they should be doing.

Who the hell starts to pick a fight with someone when they have their kid with them? (Rachael is your daughter, right?) Honestly...you were dealing with the asshole of humanity. As much as I try not to wish ill on anyone, I do wish that people like that have terrible things happen to them. That'll teach you to be a prick.

The main problem is, is that two of the lads live either side of Charlys mum (for those that don't know Rachael is my Daughter, Charly is Chixie who is my fiance) and the 3 households have issues with each other and are equaly as bad as each other. Whil living with Charlys mum we kept out of it, but the problem has still followed us because of Charlys relation to her mum despite the fact they dont talk and Charly despises her.

That lot's got no stones. Sounds like they're the type who've got issues at home. Either way they've got minimal maturity, uncivilized ruffians. Hope your noggin feels better.
