Legend's thread on Fables reminded me that I wanted to bring up the aforementioned comic series.
Y: The Last Man
If you haven't read it yet, I would highly suggest checking it out. From what I understand, the series has been getting acclaim from all over, and I'll tell you, after hesitantly reading the first TPB, I know why now.
The story is about a guy named Yorick who, after a mysterious plague eliminates all the male mammals, is the only male left on earth (well, him and his pet monkey Ampersand), and his quest to find out, essentially, what the hell is going on. It's an interesting subject, and the writing is very good. It's serious when it needs to be, but also pretty funny. And, the TPB are only $12, which comes as kind of a shock to me. |

Also something I'm pretty hardcore into 
Yorick Brown is the greatest man on earth...well maybe the only one next to his monkey. Either way, Y: The Last Man is something I highly reccomend and anyone who is the slightest bit curious. I got into it with the Girl on Girl paperback, I need to go back and read everything before so I can caught get caught up before the series ends. (Yes sadly the series is coming to a close) |

I don't see that as so much of a problem. It's nice to know that they won't continue going on until it doesn't make money any more, just for the sake of making money. Hopefully, it ends on a logical note that leaves you feeling satisfied. |

Y: The Last Man has always seemed that it had a natural ending coming to it. I'm glad they won't drag it out.
That being said,t this is indeed an incredible read I'm sorry I won't have to look forward to anymore. |
